REVIEW
 Prasugrel is platelet inhibitor for the reduction of thrombotic cardiovascular events. Prasugrel is a member of the thienopyridine class of ADP receptor inhibitors. The drug reduces the aggregation (clumping) of platelets by irreversibly binding to P2Y12 receptors.
