REVIEW

 Inhibits plasma cholinesterase during metabolism. Bambuterol is a racemic phenylethanolamine based long acting beta-adrenoceptor agonist, used in the treatment of asthma; it also is a biscarbamate ester prodrug of the beta 2 adrenergic agonist terbutaline.
