REVIEW Cyproconazole is a triazole fungicide. This compound at 100 and 200 ppm has been observed in CD-1 mice to cause hepatocellular adenomas and carcinomas with the short term effects being constitutive androstane receptor dependent and similar to those of phenobarbital. In addition to the Cyproconazole effects listed induction of constitutive androstane receptor genes Cyp2b10 and Gadd45beta were observed. Cyproconazole is an inhibitor of CYP51A1.
