REVIEW

Flubendazole is a broad-spectrum anthelmintic. It is used by veterinarians for protection against internal parasites and worms in dogs and cats. It is also available for human use to treat worm infections. It is available OTC in Europe. Flubendazole inhibits cytoplasmic microtubules in the intestinal or absorptive cells of the worms, thus inhibiting glucose uptake and glycogen storage depletion, leading to death of the worms within days.
