REVIEW Diclazuril is an anticoccidial compound with activity against several genera of the phylum Apicomplexa used in veterinary medicine to treat cattle, sheep, pigs, fowl, cats, and dogs. It is also used as an antiprotozoal compound in humans, in particular in human immunodeficiency virus (HIV)-infected patients.
