REVIEW Oxyclozanide is a salicylanilide anthelmintic. It is used in veterinary medicine in the treatment and control of Fascioliasis in ruminants, mainly cattle, sheep and goats. Oxyclozanide, an example of a proton ionophore, uncouples oxidative phosphorylation of the target organism.
