REVIEW It is mainly used for the introduction of p-toluenesulfinyl group in asymmetric synthesis, for example, metal ketimines to form enantiopure sulfinimines; p-(methylthio)benzaldehyde to form (S)-(-)-N-(4-methylthiobenzylidene)-p-toluenesulfinimine.
