REVIEW
 An organosulfur compound used in cancer chemotherapy involving cyclophosphamide and ifosfamide as an adjuvant. Mesna is used therapeutically to reduce the incidence of haemorrhagic cystitis and haematuria when a patient receives ifosfamide or cyclophosphamide for cancer chemotherapy.
