REVIEW Fluphenazine decanoate is the decanoate ester of fluphenazine, a trifluoromethyl phenothiazine derivative. It is a highly potent behavior modifier with a markedly extended duration of effect, intended for the management of schizophrenia and other psychotic disorders. Fluphenazine decanoate is used as long acting injectable or depot to ensure patients maintain their medication, and control their symptoms.
